I don't see why you can't. It is very similar in size and operation to the T-5. The standard tremec is a direct bolt in replacement for a T-5. The TKO uses a different driveshaft yoke. It uses a C-6 type yoke. The shifter is in the same location as the T-5. It uses the same cable operated clutch as the T-5. I hope this can be of some help.
