i have a V-8 mav. and 2 I-6 mavs so between the two cars there are only a few differences. if you plan on keeping stock tranny you need to find a V-8 bellhouseing for it. if you plan on changing the tranny and the motor you need to find (or make) a tranny crossmember for the new trans. the V-8 cars also have a lower crossmember that runs under the mid section of the motor that helps stablize the front-end due to the bigger motor. the only other thing i can think of is that the V-8 has a differnt throttle linkage placement (not a big deal)
