Should not be to difficult of a swap. I did the swap with a Tremec 3550 into my 65 stang. There are some good sites on stang swaps on the internet. The basics will be the bell housing adapter, the trans crossmember, a new yoke, plus drive shaft and a shim kit to properly align the rear axle housing so you dont break a u-joint(my friend did that after this swap). Talk to Dark Horse Performance for parts, they are not to helpful, but they have the stuff. My shifter came right through the old 4spd hole, with no problems. There is also a choice of three mounting positions for the shifter so that shouldnt be a problem. The clutch is also different for the TKO, but centerforce has them in listed. How are you going to do the linkage? Hydraulic or cable...? I would be very interested in what you come up with, sure would like another 5speed car! You will love the tremec, it is soooo smooth! Good luck

Mark G
