Before anyone laughs, let me just tell you that it is one heck of a good car. It's cheap on gas, peppy as it can be (I've had it over 100, and it cruises effortlessly at 80-85), and very reliable. I've put over 20k miles on it since last September, when I bought it new, with no sign of problems. It actually reminds me of what the Maverick was originally designed to be: cheap, reliable, and fun.
::::1997 Ford Contour Sport 2.5 175hp V6 5sp 4wdb (hauls butt) and 1991 Suzuki Samuria I bought new. Has 100,000mi on it with no major repairs done,ever. Has weber conversion. Consumer Reports sucks!
