With the body work already done you are looking at around $2000 (about 6 coats of clear and wet sanding and buffing). This won't get you corrections to any mistakes made in the body work. My brother has a paint and body shop and this is about what he would charge. He just completed a Triumph TR6, Mustang, and a Porsche 911--all show quality jobs (with a guarantee) and all for under $2000 each. Tim

: Righty, he was running a BIT better this morning and is now getting his pitman assembely replaced and his engine flushed plus Kevin is going "shake a chicken" over him and check him out... Kevin has been working locally on my Mavs for the last three years and I know my car is in good hands.
: OK, so here's the question. Kevin is interested in Buying Nicky when I get Alice back. I said I would cut him a hell of a deal because I would rather him go to a good home than just toss him out on the market to places unknown. What I want out of Nicky is enough money to get Alice's paint (Micheal's BIL does great work and has a place to do it). I would also say new tires and rims for Alice BUT I was thinking perhaps insted how about the cost of the paint and then a set amount of "labor time" at his place.
: Oh, I'll also throw in access to my doner car (what's left... drums some body parts ect)
: Does this sound good to you? How much is QUALITY paint. Alice will already be primered and ready to go. I want it to be a show quality LASTING amount, not just spray and go.
: Oh, he'll also be joining the IMCC!!
