That would be pretty sweet. You'd have to modify the shock towers (the 5.4 is wider than the 351W), but it'd be worth the effort. You might think about the Lightening 5.4,it makes 360hp & is supercharged but has 2 valve heads.

: So, I'm reading the June issue of Super Ford, where they're testing out the 2000 Cobra R prototype, and it occurs to me. I wonder what it would be like to stab a 5.4 modular from a crashed Navigator under the hood of my newly-acquired '71 Grabber, mated to a good Mustang AOD (sorry, but I'm just tired of sticks for now), putting it down through a Versailles 9-inch with discs at all four corners? I know there are significant differences between the Cobra-R 5.4 and the Navigator 5.4, but according to SF, the Stock version still sports 300 hp at 5000 rpm and 355 lbs-ft of torque at 2,750 rpm. With some tuning and the right gears in a super-light Maverick, that sounds like one heck of a fun driver to me!
