Do a compression check on the cylinder, first do one dry and then squirt some oil in there, if the compression is low and goes up when you add oil in the cylinder then it is rings, if not then it is valve seals. Compression testers are inexpensive. I don't know a whole lot about I6's but it should be fairly easy to change your valve stem seals just to see if it helps. -CP
: i have a 200 c.i.d and my number 3 plug is fouling because of oil...its just this one plug.and the oil is being pushed out around the plug..does this sound like rings or seals...any info is appreciated..ive gotten alot of help from this board and dont know what id do without it...thanks in advance
