Look at the left side of the gas tank, right near the left rear tire. You will see where the fuel line and sender wires connect. You might carefully pull the sender wire plug off and check the contacts for corrosion. The contacts may not be making a good connection too. I know that my old Grabber had this problem. I would be driving down the road, then see the fuel gauge drop to nothing. Scared the heck outta me the first time. I was 100 miles from home. I just got out, and wiggled the plug, it made contact and everything was fine.
