I'm nearing completion of my Mav project. A '72 with the drivetrain out of a '95 SALEEN Mustang. With a few add-ons we're making we should be at a little over 400 HP at the rear wheels. I am also having discs all the way around. So I guess I sort of beat you to the punch.

: So, I'm reading the June issue of Super Ford, where they're testing out the 2000 Cobra R prototype, and it occurs to me. I wonder what it would be like to stab a 5.4 modular from a crashed Navigator under the hood of my newly-acquired '71 Grabber, mated to a good Mustang AOD (sorry, but I'm just tired of sticks for now), putting it down through a Versailles 9-inch with discs at all four corners? I know there are significant differences between the Cobra-R 5.4 and the Navigator 5.4, but according to SF, the Stock version still sports 300 hp at 5000 rpm and 355 lbs-ft of torque at 2,750 rpm. With some tuning and the right gears in a super-light Maverick, that sounds like one heck of a fun driver to me!
