I don't see why you should have to pay the shipping. If J.C. sent you the wrong parts, they should make good for your expense. It's worth a try. Let me know how you make out. I'm probably going to send mine back too based on how your situation gets resolved. My email is johnbaribeau@hotmail.com if you wouldn't mind too much keeping me posted. Thanks for considering. John. B.

: : If so, did the difference in the locating pin make an appreciable problem? Thanks. John B.

: No the springs "did" not fit! I called JR spring service (thats where they were shiped from) gave them the stock # (there's) and they have not gotten back to me yet.I have not called JC whitney yet untill I hear back from the spring company. Tell ya the truth I don't think there very helpfull, but I'll call them again next week!
: As far as the locating pin being a good 1" or better forward, the tires would hit the front of the wheel wells. It's going to be a hassle one way or the other,If I have to ship them back they weight like 66lbs. but if they fit a Mustang I have a guy thay will buy them. Maybe You should just go with PST at double the money and save Yourself a headache, let me know what you end up with.
