Hi Tom I got some spring from j.c. whitney too, but they went in with no problem. Part # is I 970x7891rf belive j.c. whitney realizes that they had a problem because about two weeks ago I told a friend about the springs. He log on to thier web site and under maverick there was no springs listed for a mav. I check thier site just now the HD spring is now part # 97ZX7891RF the standard spring is # 96ZX7576XF something dosen't smell good. Tom if I where you, j.c. whitney would be getting a call from me and by the time I got off the phone I would have this problem fixed. They should issue a call tag for the wrong ones and sent out the right ones at no charge. Please let everyone know what happens.
