:By using a mustang II front end you can remove the shock towers to give you the room for your motor. Early thunderbolt fairlane's and mustang's did this to fit the bigger engines. If you do this properly you will have a real nice modified maverick. PLEASE post pics if you do this I'm very intertested in big blocks in any ford.
: My question is, can it been done? I have a sweet 71 Grabber, probably
: one of the nicest I've seen and I want to really make it run. I'm no
: stranger to going fast but have very little experiance with Mavericks
: and or fords for that matter. Most people run 302's but I want to be
: able to squeeze in a bigblock 428cj. I though maybe someone made a kit
: or maybe some one has seen it done before. I realize the narrow shock
: towers make it impossible but is their any way?
