Although it would be a hassle, having non-power brakes would allow for the use of a more radical cam (if you wanted) without having to deal with vacuum problems. The only benefit of losing the power steering would be weight savings but other than that I'd keep it. The Power steering models have a quicker steering ratio than manual steering models so removing the power assist would make the car harder to steer than a car that had manual steering from the factory...

: Don't lose the power brakes. I think you would find it to be a lot of work. You have to get a new brake pedal, move the master cylinder. all the brake lines going to the master cyl. will have to be rebent, or more than likely replaced. something to think about.
