I have just created a new racing oriented list at
e-groups.com. The list is named Quick32 and the URL is http://www.egroups.com/group/Quick32 To subscribe to the list all people have to do is send a submission to
Quick32-subscribe@egroups.com and I will add them. The list is free and is updated in "real-time" instead of a digest like we received before. "Real Time" meaning that if you send an e-mail to the group, the list is updated at that time and the message will show up the next time that a memer checks his/her e-mail. Each e-mail is separate and is archived. Also available to the group is a place called the "vault". Members of the group can upload pictures, documents, or just about any kind of file to here to be viewed or downloaded by other members. There is 20mb available for this. In addition, there is an archive list of the messages available.
No I don't work for e-groups, and until 2 or 3 years ago I had never heard of them. At that time, a list much like our dragnet that I belonged to (an e-mail discussion group dedicated to an Architectural CAD program that I use) had to shut down also. One of the former members formed an e-group and the rest is history. I have had nothing but good results with this group and have often wondered why there was not one like it dedicated to racing.
Help me spread the word about this new group and let's get on track talking and exchanging ideas about the past time that we all enjoy so much.
Tell everyone you know, and spread the word at your local tracks, cruise nights, car shows, parts places, speed shops, etc... And let's light this candle!!
Thanks for any help that you can give.
