It is really refered to as a "Rear Spoiler". They were not really an "option" from the factory, in that they only came on 1970-1973 Grabbers...and all of these cars had them as standard equipment. There was no other way to get one from the factory unless you got one of these Grabbers.
Since then, they have became a popular option for people to add to their Mavericks and Comets.
