i looked into hi performance parts for my 6 cylinder falcon. i even have cliffords catalog.
cliffords does offer a lot of cool stuff, and seem to know what they are doing... but their prices are OUTRAGIOUS! especially for fords.
they seem to have a monopoly on the hipo 6 market, and exploit it for all its worth.
i think thier 6 cylinder crate motor goes for more

for about half of that cost, you could probably convert to a well massaged V8 that will run circles around thier engine.
im not sure exactly of prices, but i think ford's V8 crate motor isnt that much more than thier wimpy 6. (maybe not wimpy by 6 cylinder standards)
