I fitted a 351c in my mav a couple weeks ago, and I can tell you a few things, your boss will be a bit narrower, but it is a tight fit, I had to get out the sledge hammer and beat the shock towers, don't worry though, it doesn't look bad if you do it right. I found that the steering box interferes the most, it is touching my exaust manifold right now, and running headers would definitely be a trick. To put the cleveland heads on your 5.0, you'll have to block the square water holes in the heads on the deck side (machine them out to the size of a small freeze plug or something), and drill some holes on the intake side of the heads to match up with your intake manifold water holes. Make sure everything lines up when your assembling the motor. You'll probably have to order custom length pushrods, and if your running a big cam, check the piston clearance, because the 5.0 valve reliefs will not correspond to the cleveland heads. Also check the head bolt diameter, the 5.0 has 7/16" head bolts, and I think the 351c has 1/2" ? so you may have to tap the block. (I know you do when putting 351w heads on a 302)
Also be prepared to run some top end on your small motor with 4bbl heads ( .700" lift cam, etc. ), if it's street driven, go with the 2bbl heads, they are already bigger than any small block head Ford ever made, good size valves too, 2.05", and 1.66" .
