some of the late 1970 Mavericks had the 7.5" . Mine was built in May and it has one.

: I had a 70 with a 200 and it didn't have the same 8" my 73 does. It had a cover on the back like the chevy's do. It had a key on the column so I don't think it was a 69 1/2.
