...converted into a hippie nightclub (in Windsor, Ontario) back when he was with the Amboy Dukes and they'd just released "Journey To The Center Of The Mind". They say that if you can remember the 60's (early '70s)then you weren't there. I beg to differ, although there ARE some gaps! I praise God for keeping me safe through those days, and for the moderating influence of advancing years! My last concert (and first in decades) was U2 (Toronto). It was great. John B.
: Ron, looks like we both have eclectic tastes in music. Are we all 70's leftover Maverick-loving KISS-Army soldiers, or what? I saw KISS on April 20th (yep, just a week and a half ago) in Charlotte, NC where I live. I gotta say, though, that Ted Nugent really kicked butt. As I'm sure you guys know, he was between Skid Row and the headlining Gods of Thunder. Before that, man it's been a while. I saw Confederate Railroad back in about 1995, I guess, and Alabama around the same time. My ex-wife made me listen to country (I swear it wasn't my idea). She's also the one that wouldn't let me buy an almost mint Maverick from a friend of mine for $65.00. So feel free to hate her as badly as I do. And Craig, did Paul Stanley kiss the audience's butt as much in Kentucky as he did here? Don't get me wrong, I've always loved KISS, but I thought if I heard "We love you Charlotte!" sung in 300 decibel falsetto again I would puke.
