I couldn't bolt up the throttle cable linkage just right, I had to leave out one bolt or something, but its never moved in 2-3 years of driving. 600 will do quite nicely, I didn't need a choke when I was running on all 4bbls, but my secondaries have been temporarily closed do to flooding... a rebuild problem, nothing really wrong with the carb, I warped a thin metal plate...
the only linkage problem I know of is the Ford throttle linkage doohicky is different than what Chebby and Dodge use, you'll need an adapter for the carb, but I had no trouble whatsoever with the intake... except a goober sold me bigass gaskets that left room for vacuum leaks, but... dats just a goober for ya
: : I'm running it, does quite nicely compared to stock...
: : Holley 600 vac sec...
: : : Who is using one and what carb?
: Yes it is the Edelbrock Performer! Was at the auto parts store to get some oil and they have these manifolds on the shelf $134.00,was thinking should I or not? and if so what carbuetor(600cfm electric choke)did you have any linkage problems?
