I haven't been reading the posts lately, sorry I didn't catch your problem earlier. You guys can contact me on the MSD Tech Line at 915-855-7123 ext.125 or email me rmartin@msdignition.com
By the way, what diagram were you looking at that you didn't quite understand? We try to make our systems and diagrams user friendly and are always open to suggestions.
: In the previous posts I may have mislead some of you about the cause of my ignition problems. It was not the fault of MSD : When I rewired the ignition wires under the hood, I got overly concerned with how the job LOOKED that I didn't take the time to make sure everything WORKED before I taped up all the wiring to make it all neat and pretty. : Well, turns out I have on of the MSD wires on the wrong solenoid post, and my wrap job made it impossible to see it came from the MSD box and not the harness I was installing. : Here's where I blame MSD......on their schematics, they DO NOT show this wire! And it wasn't until I called MSD tech support that I figured out where the problem was. : I have had no other problems with the MSD, and actually have been quite happy with it to this point. : Sorry if there was any misunderstanding. : As they say in aviation, this one was "pilot error"!
