: If you do you will have to get one from MSD due to their Multiple spark system. Personally I would just stick with a Duraspark unit.
The Autometer, Moroso, Mallory and newer VDO Tachs all work with the MSD fine. If you have a factory style tach or other brand you may need the Tach Adapter PN 8910 or PN 8920 depending on the distributor. 8910 for points or amplifier style (unilite/pertronix) or 8920 for magnetic pick triggering. Let me asure you, you can still use a tach. Oh yeah, just to let you know, I am a Maverick guy, I have a 70 Grabber.. not just trying to sell MSD or anything.. just trying to help out. If you have any questions on MSD let me know.
