Not a 1970 Grabber- all 1970 grabbers had black all-vinyl interior -CP
: Brody '69.5's are rare, '70 Grabber's are rare, '71 Comet GT's are rare, '72 Sprint's are rare and '76 Stallion's are rare but all other model's are still pritty plentifull compared to these. I sounds like you have a '70 Grabber but '70 Grabbers did not come with the Grabber hood, so you might want to go over to your uncle's house and check to see what he really has and if you can get the VIN # we can tell you what it is. As far as getting the car from him just ask him to will it to you. Trying to buy a vehicle from another family member is more difficult than booking a seat on the next Shutle Flight! Good Luck!
: : What is the most sotafter maverick? i have been told that the 1969 is,but their was no grabber option was thier? or even a V-8 but its not all about power.my grandpap got my dad a 1970 maverick after he got his drivers licenes i saw lots of pictures it was blue with blue interior grabber hood its still in the family my uncle steve has it.its setting in his barn with a canvas tarp over it. i have asked him to sell to me but he refuses. my pap ordered this car from our local ford dealership he told me that they ordered it in nov 1969 and did not receive it till feb of 1970 they paid a little over 2800 for it . it was loaded for the time it had am/8 track and dealer installed ac.my dad tells me that back then about every other car on the road was a ford maverick.so it wasnt a very cool car to have with the mustangs, camaros, gto'sand mopars running around the streets.after he saved enough money to buy another car the car was handed down to my uncle steve.it stopped there it should have been given to me. thanks for listening to me bitch and complain
