: turn the torque convertor in the trans before you put it up to the flexplate, and also your convertor probably has a drain plug, make sure it's going into a flexplate hole along with the 4 studs ligning up. any thing else blast away
Thanks Ridcky but I am not quite sure if your telling me to turn the torque converter while it is up on the fly wheel or while it is on the bell housing? Please give me a little more info.

: : My brother and I pulled the tranny from my I 6 200 Mav 1970 and got a good running tranny off of a 1973 Mustang. Both were C4s . Ok guys we swapped out the bell housings and this should have been a direct bolt in right but, we can’t ssem to get it past that last 1/4 to one half inch. Any ideas or halp, pointer sould be greatly appreciated. By the way I would give a couple of fingers for a tranny jack. LOL.
