My rule of thumb is this:
If the Junkyard is in the phone book, they don't have Mavericks.
Most junkyards now deal in cars that are less than 10 yrs old. Call these junkyards and ask where they send their cars after they get too old (and hope its not the scrapper!). Ask around as to where older junkyards are. I did and found over 10 junkyard Mavericks & Comets in just two different yards!
