Todd nice to see another Todd on the board. For your problem when I put disc's on my '72 Grabber I took them off of a '74 manual disc car specifically because the '74 manual disc cars used the same Master cylinder and metering block as the '71-'74 manual drum cars. Also in my research I found that the spindles for all disc cars are the same as well as the rotors. the difference is in the calipers. If you get the spindles and rotors from a '75 car you should get new '74 manual disc calipers(got mine from NAPA I think they were $35.00ea. plus core charge) and you will not have to change the master cylinder or metering block. This is the set up I have on my car and with 30,000 miles on them so far I have had no problems, even driving from So Cal to Columbus, Ohio and back.

: When installing front disc brakes on 74 Mav, do you have to change the master cylinder and equalizer valve? The car had standard brakes and the discs are off a 75 with power brakes.
