: that's what I did...The calipers & spindles came from a '75 and I rebuilt the calipers before installing them...Never had a problem and rebuild kits are dirt-cheap.New calipers are NOT cheap. The front brake lines are from a '74 4-door Maverick and the junction block is the same as my '73 so I just used my original one. I am also using a '75 Master cylinder but wonder if I should have used a '74...I also recommend new flex-hoses when you do the swap...

: : :Todd both are right, it depends on what you have now, engine size, rear brake size, etc, and what you're taking it out of, Mav to Mav probably just change the front brake eqiupment just never and I mean never use junkyard calibers. Might be the reason it's in there. and you don't now anyting about them, Stopping a car is THE most important thing you can do. Granada is a heavier car and uses different braking system bias front and rear. So it's not just a throw it together swap. Both are right.

: : When installing front disc brakes on 74 Mav, do you have to change the master cylinder and equalizer valve? The car had standard brakes and the discs are off a 75 with power brakes.
