: i have a 72 maverick it had until we repaint it a really cool body molding and when we removed it to prep the body most of the clips were rusted and broken. i have seen a lot of pictures with the molding removed or not even a option but i really think that it made my car stand out my mav is white with black hood inserts and trim around the bottom of the rear window the molding tied this combo all together. i would really if someone out there new where i could get new molding and clips. thank u i think i may have spelled molding wrong
I have seen mavs with narrow body mouldings and with 2 inch body mouldings. I would go to a autobody supply store ( the kind that sells to bodyshops) and ask them if they have access to the mouldings and clips you need. Another avenue for stuff like that is the guy who travels around in a van or truck and does moulding and pinstripe work at used car lots. He has access to tons of stuff like that. Also Autozone and Advance Parts ( i cant believe i even typed those places) lol, has stuff like that.
