It is not a problem figuring out the shifter location because the floor has an outline of where the shifter is supposed to go...it is a rectangular shaped outline right in the middle of the "hump" that you must cut out with a Jig-saw...manual trans shifters mounted on the side of the "hump"...The wires must be run through the firewall under the dash and under the carpet to the shifter...Not too dificult really...
I have a floor shifter from a 68 Mustang, but do I mount it right above tail shaft or more towards the case of the tranny?
