I got 4 leaf leaf springs from JCWhitney for $54.00 each plus shipping I think was $10.00. They also have new Shackles for $8.00ea. These both came shiped from the factory that they were made in. It took about 4 hours to change them both over and yes it raised the back end up 1.5" at the fender well. But the added highth is just what I wanted also it alowed me to carry 3 adults and 2 children and all of our stuff from So. Cal. to Columbus and back with out any problems. The old springs would have had the tires rubbing and the bumper dragging all the way with that kind of weight. This was one of the best investments I've made to my Mav and I highly recomend this up grade to all other Maverick owners. This is trully an upgrade with the 4 leafs on the car handles much better and feels more planted in the corners, no body roll and the ass end doesn't feel like it is going to come around any second. This also cut down on the highway buffeting, being tossed back and forth in the lane while following big trucks or when it is windy out. The car is much more stable all around. All of this got even better when I put on the 7/8" front sway bar, now she's a rocket in the corners, no body lean just tries giving up tread, not a squeel like lost traction but the sweet sound of traction.

: There was a guy at the ohio roundup (i cant remember who) that bought the 4 leaf springs from jc witney. He said they were great although it raised his car up a couple on inches. Was just over $100 i believe
