Just make sure you have the car jacked up as far as possible, A "cherry-picker" is ideal, put if you just have a chain hoist I'd reccommend one of those engine tilters (with the crank on it), they aren't expensive. Get some help and have someone nose the transmission down while you lower it into the car. When the transmission tailshaft is clear of the firewall, level the engine and lower it into place. I used a "Cherry-picker", See the picture. -CP
