:got to agree with the others, the only thing you can do with a 352, the early ones, is punch them out .130" get a 410/428 crank and you have a 428. Now that would be a screamer. The real problem even then is the exhaust manifolds/headers would be nothing short on a nightmare. Worst then the Mustangs have with them.
It would be different, early 352 had enough metal to go out to a 428 bore. But you need to check the casting date. you could always make it a 390/410 just by the crank change and .050" bore job. And they aren't that heavy either, 620 lbs in the complete cast iron assm. you can easily drop 110 lbs off with aluminum heads and intake manifold.
The torque would be unreal. Might be worth the try.

Anyone tried or considered putting the FE 352 block in their car? My friend has a '66 Fairlane Wagon with one in it, and he said that if i help him (money-wise) rebuild his 351C, then the 352 and tranny are mine free. I did some quick measuring, looks about 22 from valve cover to valve cover, and 24 w/ exhaust.

: Any thoughts on the fit or the 352 in general?
