yes under the starter is a casting number like c8ae- sumthing.
the c means 60's or decade d means 70's e means 80's the next number is the rest of the year
: I bought a 302 and c4 has elec.ign. but dont know for sure what year it is, are there any numbers on motor or codes to find out the year? Thanks Doug
