:I agree with TP, the coil and 4 link might be the right way to go. Have you tried traction bars, different shocks, spring changes, tire air Pressure, weight transfer, spring clamps, pinion angle. Your 60ft times are pretty good for the time and speed your running.
I have 1.55 to 1.58 sec, 60ft times for a 11.12 sec, 121 mph quarter mile, using a 4.30 gear and 28" x 10" tires. What is your tire size and air pressure, how about your springs, cutting up the fender wells isn't a good way to go unless all else has failed.

I got my Maverick out to the track this weekend and found the rear suspension to be horrible for traction. The car ran a 12.40 at 110 mph, but its 60 ft e.t. was 1.9 seconds. I need to get this time down to 1.5 - 1.6 seconds. I'm looking to cut into the inner wheel well to add bigger tires. In doing so, I'd like to convert the leaf springs over to coil springs and a three or four link system. Has anyone made this change? Any recommendations for kits?
