So far I've done most of this and it feels like a new car! There are a few things I have left, just waiting on funds. It all can be done, if your like me it will take about 13years and counting....

: It would be a brand new Maverick! Wish I could do that!

: "One piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime"

:
: : : Well you are on the right track. The front end is definatelly the place to start.
: : : 1. Do the Shelby upper A arm drop, and upper A arm bushing, and ball joint.(mustangplus.com has these parts, including the template and ball joint wedge).
: : : 2. change lower arm and ball joint, Polygraphite for lower joint not the ball joint.
: : : 3. polygraphite for sway bar bushings and a 7/8"- 1.25" sway bar.
: : : 4. New tie-rod ends.
: : : 5. Go with Manual steering(much more responsive, plus eliminates all of the power LEAKS, New rebuilt gear box.
: : : 6. Polygraphite upper spring bushing(eliminates front end squeeking).
: : : 7. Polygraphite spring purches.
: : : 8. new idler arm.
: : : 9. Manual front disc breaks, all new parts.
: : : For the rest of the car.
: : : 1. subframe conectors.
: : : 2. 4 leaf rear springs.
: : : 3. polygraphite shakle bushings.
: : : 4. rear sway bar 1/2"-7/8" with polygraphite bushings.
: : : 5. 302 V8, with all the mods to get over 300hp.
: : : 6. T-5 5 speed.
: : : 7. 3.55 gears with traction lock for your 8" rear end.(it will handle 300hp no problem you don't need a 9")
: : : 8. new axle bearings and seals.
: : : 9. rebuild rear drum breaks. Disc's would be nice but spend the money else where.
: : : 10. Clean the gas tank, and put in a new sender and pick up.
: : : 11. new rubber on all rubber, fuel hoses, break hoses, vacuum hoses, upper and lower rediator hoses, fan belts and what ever else you can find.
: : : 12. New master cylinder.
: : : 13. new fluids for everything.
: : : 14. new rediator, preferably 3 core or more, or aluminum 3 core or more.
: : : 15. Paint and body.
: : : Then your done.
: : : Good luck!Todd
