: Your '74 Comet can use front discs from a 74 or 75 Maverick or Comet with the manual disc option, or any manual brake 76 or 77 (discs were standard for those years). Any 1975-1980 Granada, Monarch, or Versailles front disc spindle assembly will bolt right on, assuming your car has manual steering. If you have power steering, some modification is required, but what I'm not sure, as I have manual steering. The Granada/Monarch/Versailles spindles are the easiest to find, I saw a dozen at the junkyard yesterday. -CP
