Been there, done that. Luckily, I've never hit a deer, but I have hit my share of squirrels and rabbits. One hopped at the wrong moment, and managed to hit the front grille. Knocked out a piece on the passenger side, right below the turn signal light. Also bent the support inward so I can barely get the light bulb socket off. One day I'm going to look into replacing the grille. Of course, this had to happen RIGHT AFTER I got the car. Never did find the piece of grille (or the rabbit)...
