Just got a 2 door 76 Maverick for free today! I have a 302 i'm rebuilding and plan to stick it in there. but i need some info like motor mounts? I called the parts store and they cost about $15 but is that all i need is the mounts I thought that i might need spacers, also I don't know the gear ratio but i assume its 2:79 is that any good for take off, or am i better going with a 3:40 or something. Does anyone know if the p/s bracket and the alternator bracket will fit on the 302? This car has a C-4 tranny looks like it will bolt up to the 302 will the 302 burn up the tranny or will it be okay?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, any other things I havnet mentioned that i overlooked would be greatly appreciated.
