Stangs & Camaros are what everyone recognizes. To bad Mavericks out sold the stang in it first year sales compared to stangs first year sales, Something most stang people never like to hear.
Maverick never had yo many options and fancy bells and whistles. Just misunderstood. But anyone can, and has, build a Stang or Camaro
What's with the attitudes people have about the Maverick? It seems like every time I mention I'm driving a Mav, I get the "oh, you poor soul" look. I like my '70 and had one new in '70. The motor just keeps running and running (like the bunny) and I feel the body style ain't bad. People seem to put it in the same class as the Gremlin and Pinto. Of course, I go along with the attitude in the mags - Dare to be Different. What's some of your takes on this - is it just me or do others get the same impression
