when I swapped my 600 and Performer 289 intake on there, I tried different locations for the PCV vacuum, when I tried to plug it in like you described, it ran poorly, it runs lean, if I don't have the PCV on the carb to spread the air/oil mixture over all 8, it won't run worth a damn.

: He asked where the other end of my pcv valve was located. It IS in the intake runner for the N0 8 cylinder. My carb does not have a base plate with a hose connection on it, so I took a plug out of the intake and installed a hose fitting to attach it there. This is what I came up with...

:
: : To an intake runner ...Which if I remember correctly, is to the No. 8 cylinder... oh sh1t. Didn't even think about it. In order to clear the roller rockers, I had to cut out the baffles in the valve covers. So that PCV valve is sucking oil, all of which is going in to the intake valve on the number 8 cylinder. Explains why I am fouling plugs out in 30 miles on that car...:

: Yesterday I picked up a Holley 750 carb, list 3310-2. It has a base plate with the pcv hose fitting on it. It SHOULD fit my 780, list
: 3310-1 so I should be able swap plates.
