In Reply to: 73 4-door Maverick for parts... posted by Brian on May 04, 2001 at 10:05:18:

: My nephew bought a '73 4-door Mav last week. I didn't get a chance to look at it very closely until last night. The car is headed for the junkyard. The p.s. shock tower has pulled away (or was knocked away?) from the inner fender well, and the support bracket looks like a horseshoe (surprisingly, there is no damage to the fender). He only paid thirty dollars for it, so it's no major loss. However, there are a plethora of outstanding parts on this car that you 4 door owners would drool over. Both bench seats are immaculte as are all of the plastic interior parts. The 250 six is a very strong running engine (lights the tires quite nicely). If there are any requests, let me know. We'll be stripping it in a couple of weeks. Some parts are going to go on my Mav, but, what isn't will be available.

: Parts going to my car:
: Dash and dash pad (love that package tray!!)
: Tranny
: p.s. fender
: steering column
