Welcome to the board, this is the place to get any of your questions answered. The only stupid question is one that isn't asked. There are many knowledgeable people on this board, in referance to your question there is this stuff called CLR or something like that, (it comes in one of the ugliest striped bottles you have ever seen) You can find it in the household cleaning section of any store. It will eat the rust right off, just be carfull that you don't get it on your paint or anything else, it will eat that too!
