...tired of having to be satisfied with tantalizing bits of "cold trail" type rumors on the subject of Shelby Mavericks, I decided to play detective. (In spite of my doubts about these "ghost cars", I was hoping to be proven wrong) Last night I emailed all of the following, and then some, asking for any info they might have on the elusive Shelby Mav... Carroll Shelby's official site webmaster; Shelby American Corp.; Shelby American Automobile Club regional reps in Michigan AND Mexico, the webmaster for the online Mexican Mustang registry; and I'm trying to get an email address for the former president of Shelby de Mexico, a still active car buff himself. Barring that, I have his snail mail address and will write him. I've already gotten my first response, and it is pretty exciting, but I am saving the sharing of my findings till I get more responses.
