what you did not mention is where the shifter location is. galaxies put the shifter kind of in the middle of the tailshaft housing(speaking in fore and aft terms here) and mustangs(possibly falcons too, i've never seen one so someone correct me if i'm wrong)put it way back on the end of the tailshaft housing. fairlanes had the big car location also. so you see, only 2 basic setups
