My Maverick diagram says its a Actuator Assembly Seat Belt And Ignition Warning System, from what I can gather from the diagram it goes to the seat sensor switch/ backup lamp/start on one circuit. Then on another the tranny sensor switch/backup lamp. Then on to various other sensors, lamps, engine controls. In my opinion, I really wouldnt go messing around with it unless of course your an extremely good electrician and have a really detailed wiring diagram. If you find a place or way to relocate it, let me know, that thing bugs the crap outta me.
