There are several places that advertise in Hemmings that can rebuild the prop valve. I would assume they would know for sure. I know I sent them mine and had it rebuilt and I am waiting to install it on my car. Since they rebuilt it, then I assume it must come apart somehow and something inside of it can be rebuilt.
