Get it all rebuilt at the same time. Buy a kit from Canadian Mustang (like I did), and install it all.
Otherwise, I would recommend changing the entire lower control arm, unless you want to drill out all the factory rivots....but for the price...buy the kit.

: gonna rebuild my front-end ,gettin ready for that cruise tonew castle.my question is,i need new ball joints,and my local parts buddy says he can only get the lower ones with the control arm attached.do i really need to replace the whole lower control arm,or can i just replace the ball joint?its 30 per ball joint,or 65 for the ball joint and control arm.help?????
