: I read an article at www.maverickgrabber.com about puting 170 parts in a 200 and it would up the compression. There is a 170 sitting in the boneyard here and I was wondering if maybe I should think about doing this? http://www.geocities.com/cping3/hrjan2.jpg
years back I built a staight six, using a 170 head will raise the static compression some as will milling. I used a 170 head milled .060 with a clifford research header and port divider, different carb and a few other things, it really woke it up!
