15x8 with a 4 1/2 offset will work fine. I have that with 275/60 on my 73, they dont stick out of the fenders and the rearend is stock (but for spool and 4:56s). Tread measurement is close to 10.5". Only problem you might have is one than one in the backseat and they might rub alittle.
