: : The 250 was only cast with one bellhousing pattern - the same as the Small block V8, the 3.8 V6, and the 240-300 I-6. It was never cast with any other pattern. This was one of the reasons I was able to use an AOD on my 250.
: : If you got a "250" with a weird non-V8 bellhousing, not the same as the 302, likely it was not a 250, but one of those peculiar "big-bell" 200's I mentioned from the later 81-83 Fairmonts.
